RedesignPDF frequently asked questions

Is RedesignPDF a traditional PDF text editor?

No. RedesignPDF is for visual page redesign. It does not preserve selectable text, form fields, vector objects, or the original PDF text layer.

Can RedesignPDF redesign a whole PDF?

Yes. In Whole PDF mode, you generate one preview page first. If you approve the result, that generated page becomes the style reference image for selected remaining pages.

Can I edit only one page?

Yes. Current Page mode lets you generate or regenerate a single selected page without applying that style to the rest of the document.

Which AI provider powers RedesignPDF?

RedesignPDF uses third-party AI image generation services to redesign PDF pages. Current AI image generation provider: APIMart. Current configured image model: GPTImage2. RedesignPDF may also use third-party AI models for prompt planning or workflow assistance as the product evolves.

Is the exported PDF text selectable?

No. Exported PDFs are image-based, so text is not selectable or searchable.

What types of PDFs work best?

Brochures, menus, flyers, course materials, sales PDFs, scanned PDFs, and visual marketing documents work best.

Can I use it for menus, brochures, or flyers?

Yes. These are some of the best use cases because they are visual documents.

No. Adobe Acrobat is better for traditional PDF editing, forms, and precise document workflows. RedesignPDF is for AI-powered visual page redesign.

Can I edit scanned PDF pages with AI?

Yes. Scanned PDFs often work well because they are already visual documents. RedesignPDF can help clean up or redesign scanned pages, depending on image quality.

Can I change the design of a PDF with AI?

Yes. You can describe visual changes such as style, background, color, layout feel, or cleanup. The result is a new image-based page.
